They purchased stories from authors who appeared in the pages of Galaxy Magazine<\/em> and adapted them for the radio.<\/p>\n Heinlein credited the title of \u201cThe Green Hills of Earth\u201d to C.L. Moore, who named the song in a cast away line in her first Northwest Smith story \u201cShambleau\u201d [Weird Tales, November 1933]:<\/p>\n …he hummed The Green Hills of Earth<\/em> to himself in a surprisingly good baritone as he climbed the stairs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
